We have refined the styling for our Best Everyday Friend Tshirt and our Day-to-Night Live-In Pants. We also made sure that the fit would be good after we pre shrink them. The fabric is great and so is the fit.
Gold Seal Certified and Organic Certified
Both the Gold Seal certification and the GOTS certification processes examine all stages of the manufacturing process via formal audits by third party experts. The Gold Seal certification does DNA examination to make sure that the cotton is authentic Egyptian cotton. The GOTS certification examines all processes to make sure that they uphold the Global Organic Textile Standard. These tags guarantee authenticity.
Fairtrade
What is Fairtrade? "Fairtrade changes the way trade works through better prices, decent working conditions and a fairer deal for farmers and workers in developing countries." The Egyptian government sets the prices for Egyptian cotton. Our factory pays better than this market price in order to incentivize farmers to produce cotton. Also, when you buy clothing from us, you are helping to give back through our programs for the disadvantaged workers on the outskirts of Cairo. These programs include medical care, child care, and free lunches.
Empowering Workers
Our factory provides jobs to economically disadvantaged people. Sewers are trained making local goods for many months before they advance to producing our garments. Women are taught how they can balance work with family and they have opportunities for advancement. Workers receive a hot lunch each work day, have access to a medical clinic, have safe working conditions and are paid fair wages. In addition to providing daycare, medical services, and education, worker's older children can be earn money picking chamomile part-time.

It certifies that the fabric is free from compounds that are harmful to the earth or humans. No toxic chemical residues. GOTS certification covers all stages of production from field to fashion.
